This role is an integral part of Client Marketing team that will enable and deploy customer communications to improve customer experience and support business objectives. What’s really cool about this role is that it plays an integral part in evolving Client Marketing technology capabilities. As an experienced Email Marketing automation developer, you will leverage your marketing technology expertise to improve the customer experience journey across multiple mediums.

Invovled in the end-to-end development and deployment of multiple campaigns, including targeted and personalized promotions, recipient list, creating journeys for email execution using Adobe Campaign/Adobe Campaign Classic/Standard


  • Develop & Re-imagine email campaign architecture, building personalized dynamic emails, data integrations, segmentations and quality assurance (QA)
  • Execute technology integrations between marketing platforms, databases and digital systems enabling the build of personalized and dynamic customer touch points using Adobe Campaign Classic/Standard
  • Support Account Team and clients with technical expertise & best practices, and provide guidance on client expectations and realistic accommodations
  • Provide Account Team with expertise based on previous issues, resolutions, emerging concepts and industry trends
  • Collaborate with marketing, data strategy and systems stakeholders to provide recommendations and influence adoption of new technology to maximize effectiveness of all marketing channel performance and customer engagement
  • Design trigger-based journeys and workflows to deliver cross channel marketing capabilities
  • Partner with Communication teams and creative agency to deliver flawlessly executed personalized journeys
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders, data strategy and delivery teams to build personalized journeys

Skills Required (Technical & Functional)

  • Expertise in system analysis or administration Adobe Campaign and/or similar MAP, using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, API Web development
  • Built cross-channel marketing journeys (Ideation, planning, targeting, list generation, execution, measurement, recommendation)
  • Knowledge of tools and systems including: MySQL, Data Queries, Github, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce CRM, Google Marketing, PHP framework (Nice to Have), Node.JS (Nice to have), etc.
  • Competent in applying contact strategy, developing A/B testing and segmentation
  • Understanding of Canada’s Anti-Spam regulation (CASL)
  • Flexible presentation and communications skills, able to communicate to all levels of team members frontline to executive
  • Energized by problem solving through collaboration with various stakeholders
