Java Developer – eTrading – Job Description
- 90 percent software development
- 10 percent application support
Java Developer – eTrading – Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience in creating, maintaining, enhancing trading systems, order management systems and/or smart order routing solutions across multiple asset classes
- Knowledge of Java
- Basic script and database query coding is required
- Testing and Issue tracking applications (JIRA)
- Understanding of high capacity/low latency infrastructure (Solace, multicast, Infiniband, Ethernet, SolarFlare)
Java Developer – eTrading – Nice to Have Skills
- Technical background
- Exposure to Capital Markets
- Understanding of build and deployment management
- Knowledge of messaging systems (Solace, TIBCO, MQ)
- Proficiency with Linux and Windows
- Experience with ION MarketView
